NOTE: I totally forgot adding range pots to the high level run. These are actually very worthwhile! For medium level its less important due to void scaling but you can still bring them if you'd like.
This guide is geared towards medium level players: 75/75/75 stats across the board (mage/range/melee) and high level maxed players seeking to optimize their barrow runs.
It aims to explain why certain sets are not that good for barrows anymore and why you should shift to something else. Are you fully convinced already? Skip ahead to: 10:50
This video heavily references bitterkoekjes dps calc to figure out the most flexible set, use to this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wzy1VxNWEAAc0FQyDAdpiFggAfn5U6RGPp2CisAHZW8/edit#gid=158500257 To fiddle around with it yourself
Full void range if you have it, otherwise blessed d'hides.
- Void range helm // Blessed coif - Anguish // Fury // Occult // Salve (ie) - Blessing - Void body // Blessed d'hide body - Void bottom // blessed d'hide chaps - Unholy book // Tome of fire* - Trident of swamp // SoTd* // Smoke bstaff* - Blowpipe - Avas - D'hide legs - Pegasians // Rangers // D'hide boots // snakeskin - Void gloves // Barrow gloves - Archer ring (i)
The idea is to maximize ranged offensive bonus since magic accuracy doesn't matter. The only real worthwhile magic switches are ones that increase magic damage by % (tormented bracelet, occult, ancestrals)
